This resilient lass worked her way to the colonies as a washerwoman and a healer. Once here she was able to get work with the 42nd Highland Regiment. We had tried to convince her, for her own safety and virtue that it would be better for her to stay with us. She decided it was her duty, as a loyal Jacobite, to continue obtaining military information for us to use. She also stated, with a gleam in her eye, that she enjoyed watching the men fawn over her feminine charms.
